  1. 1

Open Settings → Users & Roles

From the sidebar click Settings, then Users & Roles.

  2. 2

    Open the user

Click an existing user to edit them, or click Add User to invite a new one. Commission settings appear on the same form.

  3. 3

    Toggle Enable user commissions on

The Commission card lives on the right side of the form (sticky). Flip the "Enable user commissions" toggle to reveal the configuration.

  4. 4

    Pick how commissions are calculated

    Under Calculate Commission On, choose:

    • Sales — commission applies to the gross sale amount
    • Profit — commission applies to profit only (sale minus product cost)
  5. 5

    Decide what happens on refunds

Under Refund Commission, pick Yes (the commission is reversed when the order is refunded) or No (the commission stays even if the order is refunded). Most shops pick Yes to keep books clean.

  6. 6

Set the percentage per product type

Enter a commission percentage for each type you want covered:

    • Physical Products — standard inventory items
    • Weight Based Products — items sold by weight
    • Weight Unit Products — items priced per unit of weight (e.g. per gram)
    • Service Products — non-tangible items
    • Serialized Products — IMEI-tracked devices (retail businesses only)
    • Repairs — repair tickets (repair businesses only)
  7. 7

    Save the user

Click Submit (direct) or "Send invite" (invite mode). Commissions accrue from the next order this user creates.

Pro tips

  • Leave a product type at 0% to exclude it from commissions for this user — e.g. a junior tech who earns commission on repairs but not on parts sales.
