If you're migrating from another POS or adding a large catalog, the bulk-import flow is the fastest path.

Open Products and click Import
From the Products list, click the Import button at the top. The Product Import modal opens.

Download the sample template
Click Download Sample File. LunixPOS downloads lunix-import-template.xlsx — an Excel file with every supported column.

Fill in your products
Open the template in Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets. Title and Category are the minimum required fields; everything else (SKU, vendor, price, cost, stock, barcode, description) is optional.

Upload the filled file
In the Import modal, click "Upload File", pick your saved Excel file, then click Import.

Watch the import progress
A progress overlay shows "Processing: X of Y products" with a percentage. Wait for it to complete.

Review the Import Summary
When the import finishes, LunixPOS shows how many products were Created and how many were Updated (matched by SKU). Click Done to return to the catalog.
Pro tip
- Keep the filled-in template as your working file. To do a bulk price update, re-upload the same file with new prices — LunixPOS updates by SKU instead of creating duplicates.
