There are two different trials in Lunix and they are easy to confuse. One is the free trial on your account when you sign up. The other is a short unlock you can use on one feature your plan does not include. Knowing which is which saves an unpleasant surprise.
- 1
Know what the account trial gives you
When you sign up you get a free trial with no charge for the trial period and no card due on the day you start. Your countdown is shown in the app — how many days of trial are left — so you never have to guess where you are.
- 2
Use the trial on the real thing
Load your actual products, ring actual sales, print an actual receipt. A trial spent looking at the demo data tells you nothing about whether Lunix fits your shop. Migration help is part of the offer — ask for it on day one, not day twelve.
- 3
Know what happens at the end
When the trial ends you pick a plan to keep going. Cancel before the end and you pay nothing. Your data does not evaporate when a trial ends — but do not leave choosing until the last afternoon, because a shop that cannot ring a sale is a shop that is closed.
- 4
Understand the separate feature unlock
Some features belong to a paid plan and show as locked — the cash register is the common one. Rather than making you upgrade to find out, Lunix lets you unlock a locked feature free for 7 days, with the countdown on the card. That is a different clock from your account trial.
- 5
Check what your plan includes before you commit
The plans screen lists what each one has. The features most shops discover late are the cash register and day-end close, more than one register per location, bulk label printing, and time-off management.
- 6
Pick a plan
Choose the plan from the plans screen and add a payment method. Changing plan later is its own short guide — you are not locked into the first choice.
Wskazówka dla profesjonalistów
- Do the boring setup during the trial, not after: tax profiles, categories, your repair service list. Those are what make everything afterwards fast, and they are the easiest things to postpone.
- If a feature you tried on the 7-day unlock is one you now depend on, note which plan it belongs to before the unlock ends. Losing the cash register mid-week is worse than never having had it.
