Lunix runs in a browser, but you do not have to use it that way. Installing it puts an icon on the home screen, opens without the browser chrome, and lets it send push notifications — which is the difference between a counter machine and a browser tab somebody closed.

Open Settings → Get the app
The screen offers the app for faster access and tells you what installing gets you.

Install it
Click Install app. Your browser asks you to confirm, and when it is done Lunix says the app is installed and that you can open it straight from the home screen.

Do it on every device that sells
The counter machine, the tablet the manager carries, the phone a technician uses at the bench. Each device installs separately — there is nothing to buy and no seat to assign.

Allow push notifications
Installed, Lunix can send push notifications. That is what makes a low-stock alert or a new WhatsApp message reach somebody who is not staring at the screen.

Know when the option will not appear
If there is no Install button, the app is already installed on that device, or the browser does not support installing. Chrome, Edge and Safari all do on current versions; an old browser on an old tablet may not.

- Install it on the counter machine and pin it. A tab that gets closed by accident in the middle of a queue is a small disaster that installing prevents.
- The customer display and the time clock tablet do not need this. They are single-purpose pages and are better left as a browser page you never touch.
