Most customers lose the paper and then need the receipt for a warranty claim. Sending it over WhatsApp puts it somewhere they can find it, in a thread you can also find later.
- 1
Make sure the order has a receipt
The receipt has to exist before it can be sent. If Lunix says the order has no receipt yet, complete the sale first — a draft has nothing to send.
- 2
Make sure you have their number
The receipt goes to the number on the customer. A sale rung as a guest has nowhere to send it, so attach the customer during the sale or add the number to the order first.
- 3
Choose Send a receipt
From the order or the WhatsApp conversation, pick the send-a-receipt action, choose the order, and send. Lunix confirms with "Receipt sent".
- 4
Read the refusal if it will not send
"This number cannot send right now" is about the channel, not about the customer — the connection is not able to send at this moment. It is worth checking your WhatsApp connection rather than retrying blindly.
- 5
Use the thread afterwards
The receipt sits in the conversation with that customer, so when they come back about the same repair, the history is already in front of you.
Wskazówka dla profesjonalistów
- Ask rather than assume. Some customers want the paper, and printing is still one tap — sending the receipt is a convenience, not a replacement.
- A receipt in a WhatsApp thread is also your record of what you told the customer. That has settled more warranty arguments than any policy on a wall.
