How to create a lead in Workspace CRM

Track prospects through your sales pipeline from To Contact to Won or Lost.

4 min read

The CRM tab in Workspace is for tracking prospects — wholesale buyers, B2B accounts, or repeat-customer pipelines. Each lead moves through stages on a Kanban board.

  1. 1

Open Team Hub → Workspace → CRM

From the sidebar, expand Team Hub, click Workspace, then switch to the CRM tab. The default pipeline has six stages: To Contact, Contacted, Qualified, Proposal Sent, Won, Lost.

  2. 2

    Click "+ New Lead"

    The New Lead modal opens.

  3. 3

    Fill in the basics

    Required:

    • Lead Title — up to 100 characters (e.g. 'iPhone bulk repair — Acme Corp')
    • Pipeline — which CRM board this belongs to
    • Stage — which column to drop it into (e.g. To Contact)
  4. 4

Attach the contact (optional but recommended)

Pick an existing customer from the Contact Name search, or tap "+ Add Contact" to create a new one. The lead inherits the contact's email and phone.

  5. 5

Add lead value, owner, and source (optional)

Assign To picks the staff member who owns the lead. Lead Value tracks the expected revenue. Lead Source records where the lead came from (referral, walk-in, paid ad, etc.).

  6. 6

    Save

The lead appears in its stage column on the CRM board. Drag it forward as it progresses — landing it in Won or Lost closes the lead.

Pro tips

  • The CRM tab requires the 'crmManagement' permission on your plan. If clicking CRM opens an upgrade modal, your current plan does not include it.
